OBG & Pediatrics Lab

This lab is where students learn the basic skills of maternity and child health nursing prior to exposure to the clinical area. The lab contains various obstetrical charts related to antenatal and postnatal care including models to practice the conduct of labor. The aims of this lab are to achieve excellence in basic & applied teaching relating to child health and OBG. This lab is also designed to help the students to develop an understanding of the modern approach to child care, identification, prevention and nursing management of common health problems of newborn and children.

Pre-Clinical Lab

This lab is equipped with complete range of models charts, photos to provide better understanding of the subjects by the students. The lab enhances students ability to both visualize and understand anatomical structure for better conception of physiology of human body.

Nursing Foundation Lab

This lab is the practical area of the students where they perform all nursing procedures prior to the exposure to the clinical field. The lab is equipped with all sophisticated equipment and manikins to facilitate transition to actual clinical setting.

Advance Nursing Lab

The lab contains advanced simulators and equipment pertaining to all nursing department. The role of the teachers in the ANP lab is to support student learning by assisting the students with skill practice and developing critical thinking.

Nutrition Lab

The laboratory is used by students for preparation of therapeutic diets, and learning about the influence of culture on food. Students also use the laboratory for modifying recipes to meet special dietary requirements or health goals.
